The Oakland Raiders rookie tackle Jared Veldheer was just working out on his own in an Archie Manning jersey when he received a call from his new teammate, rookie guard Bruce Campbell to inform him of an upcoming rookie contract. The two met with each other the next day at team headquarter and signed their names on their respective rookie contracts.
The team did not release the detailed information about the two rookies’ contracts, and they even did not tell reporters how long each contract would keep the two rookies with them. If they received two standard rookie contracts, they would be two four-year deals. But according reports, third-round draft pick Veldheer could have a bigger contract than fourth—rounder Campbell, because Veldheer has a better resume than Campbell.
At height 6-foot-8 and weighing 315 pound, Veldheer was a Division II All-American selection and a three-time all-conference pick before he was drafted by the Raiders as the 69th overall pick, while 6-foot-6 Campbell fell to fourth round because of less consistency and intensity in actual games.

How to build a happy family like the Mannings
Running a family is not much easier than running a company. Even though you are families to each other, you are still different persons from each other. You have different goals, different hobbies, different opinions and different life experiences. As a long time Archie Manning fan, I always admire the Mannings for their family life that stands for love, success and happiness.
What attracts my attention most is that the Mannings have an active father and supportive mother. Archie Manning, the former New Orleans Saints star quarterback, is always active in all kinds of public activities and services, while his wife, Olivia, is always with him in the Archie Manning jersey to give supports. Archie helps his three sons a lot in their respective careers, and mother is just proud for any tiny achievements made by any of the three sons.
And I believe another key to the Mannings’ happy family is that they are willing to help others. They do not only help each other as family, but also generously offer helps to other peoples in their communities. Helping other people will make you feel fulfilled and sharing such great feeling with your families will improve relationships. So rearrange your schedule and take your family to work for the community for one day, and the same experience of helping others will make your family members love each other more than before.
