Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw dislikes Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre, and he used to say that he would be glad if Favre really decided to return. Such comments irritated a lot of Vikings fans but also received strong supports from Green Bay Packers fans.
A lot of Packers fans take Favre’s joining the Vikings as betrayal to his former team Packers, and they hated him even more after Favre led the Vikings to beat the Packers twice in 2009 season. However, they may forget that it was the Packers who first traded Favre away to the Jets after a disappointing 2007 season. At that time, Favre was 38 years old and the Packers did not see much remaining value on the quarterback. Indeed, Favre had a terrible season with the Jets in 2008, but he had one of his best seasons after joining Vikings. Bradshaw was disgusted with Favre’s decision changes on retirement, probably because he feared that 40-year-old Favre could break his own legend of winning four Super Bowl rings with the Steelers to be the first 40-year-old champion leader. With Favre being the new legend, Bradshaw could attract even less attention from the public.
The Packers fans hated Favre probably for similar reason. They feared that Favre would prove Packers made wrong decision to trade him away and the Vikings would have been a better team for their beloved player. While Favre really proved that, their fear turned to hatred. Therefore, Packers fans and Bradshaw found supports from each other to their critical attitude toward Favre. With that understanding in mind, we may stay calm if we see Packers fans wearing Bradshaw jerseys to watch Steelers games.

Terry Bradshaw was seen with Roethlisberger
When the Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was getting involved in a rape lawsuit, former Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw used to make very harsh comments on what Roethlisberger did and was hated by many of Ben’s fans. However, what’s heard might not be truth, and Bradshaw is probably getting along very well with Big Ben in person.
Someone surprisingly encountered Bradshaw the other day and hardly believed what he saw was true when he recognized that Bradshaw’s partner was Roethlisberger himself. Both of them were wearing No.12 Terry Bradshaw jerseys and on their way to a sports club. Apparently, they were having a happy talk with each other and Roethlisberger respected Bradshaw so much that he kept being on step behind the former quarterback.
However, the witness was not allowed into the club so he had no idea what Bradshaw and Roethlisberger were going to do inside. Of course, it was impossible to be a duel game to decide which one was a better quarterback than the other. I guess there could a third person waiting for them to settle the disputes between the two.

Terry Bradshaw is a Saints fan
During his whole NFL career, Terry Bradshaw only played for one team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. But it seemed he was not happy for playing for the Steelers and was even absent from the Steelers’ celebration parade in 2006. Three years later, he did not feel anything sad for Steelers’ failure to make playoffs, but wished he would have been with the New Orleans Saints to win the Super Bowl XLIV game.
As it was already too late to add a Saints style of Terry Bradshaw jersey into the champion team’s locker room, Bradshaw said he would like to show his respect in another way, which is to hand the George Halas Trophy to the champion team’s captain, Drew Brees. Well, it was still impossible for Bradshaw to have right to do such things, he just said it, and saying is always an easy thing for a TV show host to achieve. However, many people doubted if Bradshaw meant it when he said it, as we never heard of good words from him on the Saints before they managed to reach playoffs.

Terry Bradshaw might be right in Roethlisberger trade
Remember what former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw said of current starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger a few days ago when he heard of the troubles Roethlisberger was involved? He might be right in predicting Big Ben’s career future as the Steelers do receive offers from other teams about trading for Roethlisberger.
Roethlisberger was investigated and not charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a 20-year-old Georgia woman, a second legal issue he was involved into since last year’s lawsuit filed by a Las Vegas hotel worker. Shortly after knowing about the lawsuit, the former Steelers starting quarterback wearing No. 12 Terry Bradshaw jersey made his attitude clearly to be critical. He said Roethlisberger was ruining his career and the Steelers had good reasons to release him or start trade talking with other teams. Bradshaw also offered some advices that he said would help embattled Roethlisberger rebuild his image in public.
Well, Bradshaw might show his talent in analyzing things happening in football by saying that. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers received quite a few calls from other teams asking about possible trade for Roethlisberger. What makes it more intriguing is that the team has not ruled out the possibility of make the trade happen in real sense. Everything could happen and it is not necessary to be for Roethlisberger’s good, just thinking about what happened to troubled wide receiver Santonio Homes, who was traded by the Steelers to the New York Jets and was said to be cut if trade turned out to be impossible.
